Job Description Summary
The incumbent is responsible for the development and support of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Analytics products including but not limited to data visualizations and interactive reports. Responsible for developing and applying Business Intelligence and Analytics subject matter expertise (data modeling, data discovery, BI product offering development and conceptual insurance acumen) to provide the business support departments with the tools and data representations which meeting strategic goals.

Responsibilities
· Continuously develops and maintains an understanding of Business Intelligence technology and architecture, including data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data mining, reporting tools, and other methods of information delivery;
· Develops and maintains expertise with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools including: Excel/PowerPivot, SSRS, PerformancePoint, SSIS, & SQL Server Analysis Services;
· Develops database and/or data presentation solutions to deliver information to end-users accurately and efficiently;
· Extracts, transforms, & loads data using data management tools;
· IFRS17 lead for data warehouse integration
· General Ledger new interface development
· Analyses, understands, and documents user needs to ensure accurate fulfilment of data requirements from internal business customers;
· Contributes to, and possibly leads, project teams that are developing or modifying highly complex information solutions;
· Continuously develops expertise in the data and data models within the data warehouse, as well as an understanding of supported business domains;
· May construct data models, data dictionaries, and report glossaries;
· May conduct user interviews and training sessions;
· May mentor teammates on BI tools and DW best practices;
· Conducts and may facilitate internal testing and user acceptance testing.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education;
· Minimum of 5 years (depending on the level) work experience;
· Strong Experience with MSBI tools, including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS;
· Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts & design;
· Demonstrated ability to write SQL/TSQL queries to retrieve/modify data;
· Ability to abstract a concept into a series of lifecycle components and events;
· Significant experience developing physical dimensional models, processes or data visualizations;
· Significant experience in data modeling, data discovery and the application of data to solve business problems Working knowledge of multiple IT platforms;
· Working knowledge of multiple IT platforms;
· Proven problem-solving ability and a willingness to think “outside-the-box”.
· Insurance Industry experience preferred but not essential;
Essential Qualifications
· Demonstrating building large scale DW from scratch.
· Some relevant experience in MSBI. Does not have to be good but appreciates the tech.
· Has client onsite experience architecting DW solutions. Preferably have worked a few years in Asia Pac
· Excellent communication
