We are looking for Fullstack Developers across India to be part of a major transformation program to reimagine banking. Based in Hyderabad, you will be leveraging the latest technology to develop mission critical applications from scratch. We design, develop, test and deploy new applications as part of the strategic transformation program, using Agile, cloud technologies, microservices and Big Data.
DBS' Hack2Hire programme is back for the third consecutive year. We seek to identify top talent in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning and Big Data.
We are conducting Hackathon (Hack2Hire) on 13-Apr-2019 in Bangalore.

Hackathon Process:
Step 1: Attend an online test with DBS from Hackerrank.
Step 2: All applicants, who has been selected through online test will be invited for 1-day Hackathon at Bangalore.
Step 3: Selected applicants in Hackathon will have 1 round of discussion on the same day
Step 4: Shortlisted applicants will be processed for hiring at DBS (Post all necessary document verification)

Experience: 3-14 years
Job Duties & responsibilities:
- Hands on software development experience, with extensive knowledge in Java.
- Hands on Java Multi-Threading, distributed architectures in a professional experience.
- Good working knowledge of RDBMS & Linux.
- Willing to learn new tools, languages and technologies.
- Strong experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development.
- Able to manage the work in balance with the need to deliver in a disciplined manner within a minimal or no monitoring.
- Has strong background in design and implementation of scalable architecture and a good understanding of Algorithms, Data structures and design patterns.
Desired Experience:
- Must have Strong Core Java Knowledge, Multi-Threading (Prefer to have knowledge on Java 8)
- Scala programming language (Optional)
- Apache Camel, Apache Spark
- HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Angular JS, ExtJS
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
- NoSQL databases like HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc..
- Messaging JMS, ActiveMQ, KAFKA
- Cloud Foundry/Open Shift/AWS
- SQL, PL/SQL-Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB
- Experience with Continuous integration and Release automation.
