• You will work closely with the Lead Architects, Engg Head, QA Leads and Teams to ensure that products are tested for usability, performance, reliability, secureness, robustness and is released on time.
• Highlight staffing needs and plan for efficient execution.
• Motivate and mentor team members and help them in their development progress.
• Participate in the design and implementation process for new and existing products
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy
• Provide accurate QA estimates for product releases
• Perform hands-on QA activities i.e. automation, validation of test plans and estimations.
• Create and validate test plans along with team.
• Ability to adjust priorities and realign team members that meets business needs
• Guide the team on various processes and procedures that enhance productivity
• Identify all waste, cut them down and champion automation testing.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Minimum 1 Year of experience in Performance testing.
• Minimum 2 years in Managing teams, Staffing, Carrying out Performance Reviews
• Minimum 2 Years of experience with Agile Methodologies
• Have working experience on Load Testing.
• Knowledge of different testing methodologies and applicable best practices.
• Worked with Code Coverage tools and analyze unit test coverage and functional coverage.
• Good with Automation along with knowledge of using Virtualization to cut down time and parallelize testing.
• Experience reviewing and commenting on product specifications
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, support and management
• Knowledge of Tools like Selenium, QTP, Smart Bear or other automation tools.
• Experience in scripting, programing / coding.
• Work with the Support organization to:
• Investigate and resolve customer escalation issues
• Pro-actively identify trends on customer reported issues and identify any QA improvements that may be required
• Work with Marketing, Services and Support teams as needed on product release readiness, questions etc.
• Work exposure on different platforms and technologies like Desktop, Web and hand held devices.
• Strong, engaging leader, not afraid to challenge and inspire, who is equally strong and skilled as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
