Responsibilities:
Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models
Conduct advanced data analysis and complex designs algorithm related to master data and other business processes/ functions
Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple real- time decision systems
Educate stakeholders both from IT and from the business perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results.
Help stakeholders understanding the principles and the math behind the process to drive organizational buy- in
Architect infrastructure/ planform/ environment to support corporate wide data scientists usage and advance analytics requirements
Architect master data governance solutions using SAP MDG
Work on roadmaps, short term and long term strategy documents related master data governance
Evaluates and provides feedback on future technologies and new releases/ upgrades related to master data governance.
Coordinate with stakeholders and conduct training programs & user forums
Job Specific Knowledge:
Predictive and prescriptive analytics using R, Phython, Jupyter etc.
Master data management and governance tools like SAP MDG
Skills
Python and R programming experience (especially putting machine learning models into production)
Knowledge in Hadoop and relevant tools
Familiarity with machine learning libraries (scikit- learn, scipy) and deep learning libraries (Theano, Keras, TensorFlow, etc.) and NLP
Knowledge in deep neural networks, recurrent neural networks, convolutional networks is a plus
Knowledge in Microsoft Azure ML studio or Amazon ML or Amazon sagemaker or Google ML engine or cloudera analytics workbench is plus
Past experience in SAP modules and master data governance
Ability to implement SAP MDG solutions for various data domains and objects, but not limited to Materials, Finance and Vendor/ Customer
Expertise in technical skills SAP ABAP, ABAP OOPS, ABAP Web Dynpro, workflow, SAP FPM, etc., is plus.
Strong knowledge of SQL and retrieving data from relational database systems
Collaborate with infrastructure teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and collaborative with other staff members.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative interpersonal skills
