Job Title: MS SQL DBA Location: Chennai Job Type: Permanent Notice period:15 days max SKILLS: * Experience in Installation, configuration, customization, maintenance and performance tuning of SQL Server 2000 , 2005 & 2008 including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. * SQL version migration, patching and security management. * Perform database optimization, administration and maintenance (partitioning tables, partitioning indexes, indexing, normalization, synchronization, job monitoring, etc). * Good Knowledge of Backup & Recovery Strategies. * Expertise in setting up SQL Server high availability features for 24/7 production environment and troubleshooting database sizing and capacity planning. * Expertise in Troubleshooting and performance monitoring Database server (Query Tuning, Server Tuning, Disk Performance Monitoring, Memory Pressure, CPU bottleneck etc.) * Expertise in SQL Server Internals and complete understanding of software development lifecycle * Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills If you are interested, please get back to me ASAP with your updated Word resume along with the following information: 1.
