Role Purpose
* Develops Test frame-works/tools that will help increase the automation coverage for various product teams.
* Leads & provides technical leadership to one or more teams.
* Responsible for requirements analysis, test planning activities, test case automation and execution of all required testing (which may include application integration, system, system/network integration, and acceptance testing) to ensure that the software meets business requirements.
* Leads & Provides technical guidance for process improvement programs.
Responsibilities
* Evaluates environment, conditions and criteria under which test case automation should occur, and achieves maximum automation.
* Prepares, maintains and reviews test case documentation and metrics results to ensure compliance with quality assurance and customer requirements.
* Recommends actions that focus on specific programmatic or automated processes.
* Provides programming recommendations for network, system, or program design.
* Provides Leadership & evaluation on development of tools.
* Provide work direction to team members and interface with projects team members outside QA team.
* Manages the completion of testing/quality assurance processes, including the coordination of development changes between design and testing groups.
* Stays current with industry trends and identifies technologies that will impact the business.
* Leverages technical solutions on assigned projects.
* Provides leadership to team members.
* Negotiates use of the necessary resources and escalates issues if unsuccessful.
* Has responsibility for assigning work, allocating resources, monitoring results, controlling costs and handling one or multiple teams.
* Develops a work culture that promotes the development and retention of high quality one or multiple QA teams.
* Diagnoses and resolves technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems or products.
* Creates trust and credibility with stakeholders/user community and works with them to identify issues that may impact them.
* Plans and prioritizes quality workload and demands across the parallel initiatives.
* Establishes the QA project milestones that reflect realistic and achievable delivery of the necessary QA activities.
* Accountable for planning work assigned to their team, including work breakdown, accurate estimate
