Duration : 6 Months +
Main duties include:
Manage Business Objects reporting environment used for self service and adhoc reporting by global Sales and IBD business and finance users
Partner with power users in report creation and maintenance as self served through training, workshops and close interactions
Liaise with business users to understand their MI reporting needs and provide complete BI solutions
Manage self service governance team globally to ensure users get assistance with reporting in all regions in timely manner
Able to resolve BO environment issues and provide support and guidance
Keep the software up to date with available patches and upgrades from SAP
Manage relationship with firms Shared Farm BI technology team to participate in software testing, evaluations, packaging and deployment
Manage requirements gathering & definition, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance phases of SDLC for BI Reporting stream
Monitor solution quality and advise project manager and team leads on areas for process improvement
Evaluate current business processes to identify potential areas of improvement
Establish system and user training documentation

Must be proficient in:
Business Objects Enterprise XI R2/R3 suite
BO Universe design, Web Intelligence, Crystal reports
Using multiple data sources for BO reporting, linked and derived Universes
BO architecture and security implementation experience
Business Objects SDK development
Minimum 5 years experience in Database (SQL Server)
Minimum 2 years of experience in ETL(SSIS)
Knowledge OLAP cubes and MDX Queries (SSAS)
Performance tuning and query optimization
