(SME Role) Job Requirement/Roles & Responsibilities Experience in the following areas are required :- • Ten plus years of strong experience with MS SQL installation, upgrades in SQL 2012, SQL 2014, SQL 2016, SQL2017 and above. As a SME DBA, implement Microsoft offered various database best practices such as policy based management, server level triggers, database, server audits, certificates, and encryption methods. • Big Data product experience to support MongoDB and Hadoop databases. • Strong experience with patches and upgrades from End of Life products (EOL) for various versions of Microsoft SQL Servers and automate the installation and patching. • Expert in High Availability technologies such as Windows clustering, SQL Server clustering and Always on Availability Group (AG) across the data centres (PROD and DR). • Must have technical documentation of the work performed and very good team player skills. • Expert in Self-developed PowerShell scripts & methodology, Diagnostic, Tuning Pack and Microsoft Utilities/Procedures. • Must have strong experience with production DBA experience in supporting various SQL Servers Database versions. Configure DBM and AG set up as applicable. • Implement Always on Availability Group (AG) solution and product feature to set up across data centres. • Automate Backup, Recovery and Restore of various versions of SQL Servers. • Excellent DBA expertise with Production Database Administration, Full, Differential/Incremental, Log backup/recovery, Performance Tuning, Trouble-shooting, High Availability, Architecture Design, Infrastructure Analysis, Backup & Recovery and SAN Storage. • Automating Database or file groups level refresh in development/test environment from production backups or tape/solid state storage (Cohesity) . • Data Security implementation via CyberArk, Firewall, User and schema management etc. • Configure Resource governor, optimizing buffer cache and procedure cache memory area based on application needs and server usage. • Experience with Link server setup to automate homogenous and heterogeneous RDBMS servers to load data based on business requirements.     Other Requirements • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter, and keen attention to detail • Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as required • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • ITIL certification would be an added advantage • Willing to work in Night Shifts (EST shifts)   Personality Traits Hardworking , Positive , Team-oriented , Works well under pressure   Effective communicator , Flexible , Confident About Atlas:  Atlas Systems Inc. is a Software Solutions company headquartered in Princeton, NJ.
