Key Responsibilities Collaborates to define scalability, performance, and functional requirements Support engineering and dev. teams with onboarding/deploying cloud, virtualized services/ and/or enabling automation Leads the development and test team during develop phase Ensures that at least the minimum required infrastructure standards and controls are applied Maintain, deploy, upgrade and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions Essential Requirements Produce technical design specifications and guidance to the appropriate detail, acting as an advisor to a zone and/or multiple charters Strong mentoring and coaching skills that encourage growth for more junior members Substantial expertise in modern programming languages such as: C#, C++, Perl, Java, Python, and javascript/jQuery Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Big Data, SQL, NOSQL, and various other technologies Strong expertise in Git, Jenkins Pipelines, Ansible/Puppet, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Dockers & Kubernetes RESTful API, WebUI (HTML 5) and Modern JS frameworks Own technical approach to solving problems, tech backlog for your zone Be mindful of the ability to both leverage and allow others to leverage technology platforms that are being built Extensive experience working in an Agile environment preferred Expert software engineering skills and computer science experience Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities to turn them into teaching and learning moments Define reference Cloud architecture/Automation architecture for the platform/product, build and update the roadmap to achieve this architecture; Socialize and evangelize the vision for the reference Automation & Cloud architecture across the company Engage with RPR teams to ensure a smooth production rollout of a specific area. Desirable Requirements Experience on tools like Dockers, Kubernetes, will be an added advantage & familiarity with key network design elements and components such as Firewall, Load Balances etc. Demonstrate accountability and ownership to lead most technical IT incidents to resolution within his/her technical area and work with the team to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents Agile practitioner, familiar with extreme programming, test driven development, pairing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and related techniques Experience with Cloud Foundry / AWS / Public Cloud
