Job Title: Business Analyst – Loan Origination • Professional certificate in Business Analysis/Banking preferred • Minimum 8 years of experience in similar role Job Summary: Contact between the client and project team for business analysis with banking domain expertise focused on Loan Origination. Also, responsible for program management of various Business Analysis assignments in liaison with the overall program manager. Job Description Domain Knowledge (Loan Origination): Candidate should be well versed with following banking domain knowledge with focus on end to end loan application/origination process with focus on following: • Should have worked on loan origination/loan application/loan processing for retail loan or commercial loans • Should have knowledge on loan application capture, application approval process, credit policy checks and exception/deviations management • Should be well versed with loan application aspect such as credit policy, collaterals requirements, limits and utilization, financial ratios and analysis for loan application • Should have knowledge about Loan products like personal finance, auto loan, credit cards, mortgage loan, student loan or commercial loans. • Collections and delinquency management including overdraft excesses/past due management, loan repayment, settlement among others. • Banking regulatory and reporting needs including AML check, KYC check, Credit bureau check among others • Should have knowledge about loan restructuring, repayment schedule, interest waiver, interest pricing and commissions for loan products • Should have knowledge about different interest calculation method such as APR/EIR/Rule of 78 and different payment method such as EMI, Balloon payment, installment deferrals and waivers • Knowledge about digitalization concepts like mobile appointment booking, tablet/mobile based loan application is a plus though not mandatory • Should have knowledge about customer experience or customer relationship management • The candidate should have experience in multiple retail banking solution and should have worked for at least 8 years in retail Banking having worked in Bank or Banking Domain in banking software vertical. • Knowledge on loan origination solution implementation/consulting or Core Banking – Loans module is a plus • Islamic Banking/corporate banking operations knowledge is a plus though not mandatory Business Analysis Expertise: The candidate should have minimum 7 years experience as business analyst role out of his total experience.
