We are looking for Deputy Manager - Business Intelligence & Insights for one of our clients - a Fortune 500 finance Company . Job Location - Mumbai Job Description : Duties & Responsibilities Designing and developing various business intelligence and data warehousing solutions Work with teams across business functions to understand challenges and design data driven solutions to optimize and improve performance. Use data to identify gaps and opportunities across business functions Guide non- BI stakeholders to understand their BI needs and how BI can help them create value Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and standardised reports/applications to monitor and drive the business Collect, organise, analyse and interpret data and statistical information to extrapolate behaviour and patterns from the data that will provide innovation direction and value addition to the business using SQL and BI/Visualisation tools such as Qlikview/Qliksense, PowerBI, Spotfire, R, Python Effectively demonstrate and lead the team on various BI aspects; Data Visualisation, Analytics, Advanced Statistical & Forecasting techniques, Data Management, Dashboard build and design for Executive & Management layer Work and support projects using Agile methodology using JIRA & Confluence and similar methodology of SDLC Ability to mentor team members and provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues Enhance existing applications by analysing business objectives, identifying areas for modification and improvement Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and clients/stakeholders Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory): Apply pragmatic data analytics and visualization science to bear in the design of BI dashboards, pursuing a good balance between clarity (visualisation), usability (UX) and aesthetics (UI) Strong analytical, logical and numerical ability able to analyse and interpret data, evaluate data and make recommendations based on data and trends At least 8 years of advanced knowledge in Data Visualisation Applications and reporting tools such as MS (at least 2 to 3) 5+ years writing medium to high complexity SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures 3+ years of using R and Python along with BI tools for visualisation and analysis Should also have experience in designing UI/aesthetics for Executive & Management dashboards Experience with Microsoft Office suite, JIRA and Confluence Process oriented with project, task and people management experience Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired) Six sigma black belt trained Experience/Knowledge of ETL & Automation tools like Informatica, Knime, Selenium, AutoIT, VBA, etc. Knowledge/application of Big Data/Hadoop/Machine Learning Knowledge and experience in BFSI/Insurance domain Knowledge and exposure to Regulatory processes like Information Security, Data Protection, etc. Onshore/Client site working experience ## We will discuss more about the JD & the organization on call.
