Purpose: * Responsible for the database control and/or end user support of IT systems and their users. Provides support and technical services aimed at managing databases and/or systems as well database utilities. Resolves third level systems failures. Ensures close customer liaison both internally and externally with managed vendors. Provides third level technical or database problem resolution to customers/end users in a technical production support function. Escalates complex technical/database problems to technical specialists or 3rd party suppliers as appropriate. Scope: General: * Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services * Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience * Requires in-depth knowledge and experience * Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan Candidates must demonstrate expertise in the following areas: Oracle Database Administration Process Flows OWB (Oracle only) MDL / DDL Replication services Query tuning Statistics management Interpreting OEM metrics and alerts Database Patching (CPU and PSU) and upgrades Monitor storage capacity, predict future usage and escalate needs / issues as appropriate General DBA activities Capacity Planning Heath Check Alert monitoring Backup management and validation Interpreting database security scans Executing maintenance scripts Disaster Recovery planning and testing Disaster Recovery Site Management Managing SOX Audit collaterals Interested candidates can send their Updated CV immediately along with following MANDATORY details Total Exp Relevant exp in Oracle DBA (BI) Current CTC Expected CTC Date of joining if selected.
