The Morgan Stanley Content, Publishing, and Marketing (CPM) technology team is responsible for developing and supporting the firms public site (MorganStanley.com) and firm-wide intranet web portals. We are seeking an experienced, action oriented, and highly motivated Technical Lead (Vice President) who will work with our internal IT teams to develop our web properties leveraging content management systems like HP TeamSite (Interwoven) and Adobe Experience Manager
Responsibilities:
- Provide local leadership and oversight
- Build Bangalore team and ensure high quality candidates are selected
- Understand disparate technologies (Adobe Experience Manager, HP Interwoven, Java) and provide technical leadership
- Ensure local consultants are engaged and are working efficiently.
- Provide local Delivery Manager coverage liaising with our NY-based Development Manager and Product - Manager, as well as Montreal development leads.
- Ensure the Bangalore staff is operating at an optimal level
- Lead local team to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Conduct architecture reviews and design sessions
Skills Required:
- Experience developing and deploying Java web applications.
- Extensive development experience with Linux, Web and Servlet Engines, JRE
- Experience with Tomcat and Apache
- Experience with client side development
- Experience with HTML, Javascript, CSS, XSLT
- Experience in MVC frameworks
- Ability to build competent web pages
- Strong understanding of SDLC
- Experience source code management, automated build, environment promotion
- Good working knowledge of Git
- Good understanding of Agile concepts like SCRUM
- Experience working with team members across multiple locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- 7+ years experience as a developer for a large organization
- Experience with full lifecycle application testing (functional, regression, performance, integration, etc.)
- Ability to advise on Performance considerations
Skills Desired:
- Experience with web content management systems like HP TeamSite, (preferably v7.3 or above) and Adobe Experience Manager (v6.0 or above).
- Experience as a tech lead for a content management system project from inception to delivery
- Experience in quality assurance
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- Experience with Analytics and Digital Marketing Solutions. Experience with Adobe Analytics and tag management systems
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Sybase
- Configuration Management tools experience
