Technical Skills :
Experience on SQL Cluster installation, setup and configuration, working experience on Cluster environment for SQL server 2005 , SQL server 2008 and R2 and SQL server 2012
Hands-on experience for configuring and Troubleshooting on major high availibility parts Like Mirroring, Clustering, Logshipping and Replications
Good Knowledge and result driven approach on Performance Tuning.
SQL server internal architecture, Logging, recovery process.
Experience on SQL Patching and rollout activity as per Microsoft Releases
Knowledge on latest service packs and their effectiveness on SQL server 2008 and 2008 R2
Clear understanding on Security Modules layers available on SQL Server
Planning and Deploying daily weekly maintenance plan on SQL server .
Planning for Regular backup strategy applicable based on business requirement and Infrastructure
Desired Skills :
Working knowledge on TSQL, Store procedure, triggers, and cursors.
Experience on Capacity planning for SQL Server based on requirement and Application load.
Soft Skills :
Experience of Handling Problem management , Client calls , Delivery process coordination with various teams in Infrastructure management.
Possessing good communication skills, capable of working on multiple platforms in a 24/7 environment.

8+ years of relevant work experience

Willingness to work in US shifts.
