Requirement Detail
The Test Automation Analyst/Consultant is a technical position that requires experience in writing code to build and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
Also Mentor and train team members to develop automated test suites and provide technical solutions to QA team's challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and other quality goals
* Work closely with QA team members to improve quality of automated testing
* Research and Develop testing tools to resolve technical challenges in testing such as mobile testing strategy, testing limitation, integrated testing between application, web services and database, etc.
* Define coding standard and perform code review for QA automation team
* Develop strategy and tool to evaluate test system coverage and quality.
Requirements:
* At least 6+ years hands-on experience in QA or Test Automation Engineering
* 3+ years of experience testing web/ecommerce applications constructed using .Net, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, CSS, HTML and related technologies
* 3+ years writing and debugging applications in C#
* Developed a test automation framework or library using technologies such as VSTS (codedUI), Selenium, TestNG, HtmlUnit, and JMeter
* Experience designing and coding high efficiency tests for scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
* Developed a test automation framework for mobile applications
* Experience with testing REST-based APIs and Services
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and attention to detail; strong analytical skills
* Preference for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects
* BS or MS in Computer Science or a related degree
* Practical SQL skills
* Proficiency with one scripting language. e.g. Perl, Shell, Python, or Groovy
Preferred Requirements:
* Understanding and effective application of code quality metrics, such as those produced by SonarQube, FindBugs, PMD and other such tools
* Performance testing experience
* Exposure to Travel domain eCommerce
* Great sense of time and priority management
