Job description

Manage a team of 4-6 developers.
• Work with Development Manager to define, estimate, plan and execute mid to large size projects.
• Estimate, plan, and supervise development plans and lead project team members to ensure accurate and timely deliverables for releases of the assigned product lines
• Work with Architect to deliver high-level and detailed design.
• Review team members’ implementation to ensure adherence to the design and coding guidelines.
• Perform functional code reviews and integration tests.
• Mentor and coach the team members on all aspects.
• Proactively suggest and recommend improvements to the product and process.
• Develop deep expertise in the product domain.
• Analyze and communicate the impact of new features and roadmap changes.
• Demonstrate effective use of project resources, identify risks in time, and communicate status information with project stakeholders
• Contribute to the overall QA planning and strategy.
• Help drive new initiatives that help faster turnaround and improve overall product quality.
• Support Technical Communications and Translations teams by ensuring timely inputs, clarifications, and document reviews.
• Act as subject matter expert for other team members on the product being developed.
• Possess a can-do attitude to balance work volume, set limits, and project deadlines, while prioritizing to maintain and deliver quality work.
• Assist management in recruitment and team building activities.
• Set goals, coach, supervise, and manage the performance of assigned team members.
• Perform any other related duties as directed by the reporting manager.
