Job Description: Product Development Manager
This position will drive the product development process based out of Bangalore, India. It will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the development life cycle including (but not limited to) definition, design, build, test/validate, release, deploy and support.
Responsibility Areas:
· Manages and coordinates product development of a product line.
· Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
· Ensures that documentation and marketing/promotional literature match product specifications.
· Works with other departments / product lines to establish appropriate design, technology, product development/deployment.
· Manages project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management.
· Includes staffing and performance management responsibilities for the required skill sets. May include both permanent and contract resources in India, and in global development centers.
· Partner with business stakeholders to identify the best market opportunities, and drive your team to deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
· 10 years of experience in software development (product/custom) with languages and technologies like C#, ASP.Net, RDBMS, Web Services (SOAP and REST), SAP Mobile Platform, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
· Requires at least 3- 5 years of experience as a leader of a team of 10 or more.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline required, Masters Degree / MCA preferred.
· Familiar with a variety of the software concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Must have excellent communications skills with the ability to interface with management at all levels.
