We have immediate openings for â€"Sabreâ€" Oracle DBA â€"Contract to Hire Client: Sabre (On Payroll of Primus Global Technologies) Experience: 5+ Years Work Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate/10 Days Mandatory F2F Interview Roles and Responsibilities: DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • The candidate must keep stability and reliability of a databases proactively react to data growth / risks / issues • Implements enterprise database standards across the portfolio of databases • The candidate must demonstrate very strong problem solving and communication and must be willing to work with several product lines on several assignments concurrently • Keep the databases current version maintain the most possible uptime and minimize MTTR when incident occur, proactively resolve database risks ‘Must have’ skills: (team lead) • Min 5 - 7years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator or related field Unix administration • Proficient in Oracle SQL. Knowledge of Oracle dictionary views • Vast knowledge of different recovery scenarios using RMAN in Production environment • In-depth knowledge of Oracle utilities SQL loader/exp/imp/RMAN • Familiar with OEM from user perspective Diagnostick Pack/Tuning Pack. Grid Control administration is nice to have • Familiar with Red Hat Linux or any other flavor of Linux • In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDMBS upgrade process • Knowledge of UNIX Operating Systems including storage / network infrastructure is a definitive plus • Collaborate with internal customers/leading database standup/migration projects for internal organizations • Engaging other DBAs helping in work distribution if needed ‘Nice to have’ skills: • Experience in writing PL/SQL procedures / packages is a plus • Oracle RAC knowledge maintaining rolling upgrades rolling patches • Experience with Unix shell scripting.
