POSITION OVERVIEW

Our mobile team is growing fast with a portfolio of blockbuster titles like FIFA, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, Madden, Real Racing, Plants vs. Zombies, and the Sims.
The EA Central Development Services group is a critical partner of EA game development teams and a driver for quality and productivity within those teams. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for mobile platform based development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
8-10 years of work experience
Proven experience building software solutions on mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
Strong programming experience on C++, Java, Objective C
Ability to identify, collect and document requirements and feedback
Demonstrated problem solving and innovation skills
Experience with version control and build systems
Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible - able to adapt plans and react to change.
Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work effectively within deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on all levels of tools development which are running on mobile platforms.
Serves as technical spokesperson for the project to key stakeholders
Anticipates technical problems and risks, mitigates, and communicates status across team leadership
Promotes and supports software development best practices and standards
Partners with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and expectations in order to develop appropriate solutions.
Owns development plans including technical designs, task estimates and quality of deliverables
Provides trouble shooting, debugging and problem solving assistance
Work as a strong contributor in an agile team to take ownership of requirements and follow them through to completion.
Maintain tools, integration, and technologies to support highly reliable environment.
Understand and follow standard software engineering processes and best practices for requirements, design, implementation and testing.
