We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our company to support the Finance, Marketing, Wine and Operations groups of our clients by providing analytical support through data mining and analysis as well as to serve as an expert business user for all business systems. Key Job Activities: * Database analysis o Extract, analyze and help segment customer data for various marketing efforts. This would include the monthly customer mailings, weekly emails, and semi-annual holiday shipment o Extract and maintain reporting for Finance/Accounting. This includes customer metrics, returns reporting, and sales ledger discrepancies/inquiries. o Perform ad-hoc data pulls using SQL as needed for all members of the business * Global Business Reporting o Create and maintain a data warehouse by extracting information from multiple key business systems. o Build and develop global standardized business performance reporting universes using Business Objects software. o Perform data maintenance within the data warehouse to ensure that all data is accurate and to ensure that all reporting requirements are met. o Liaise with global IT to perform maintenance and periodic upgrades on all reporting servers o Requires involvement with the full data lifecycle taking raw data from our various data entry systems through to our consolidated reporting platform and the data warehouse. * Business Systems Expert o Identify limitations in key systems and propose solutions o Identify system issues which arise through data inaccuracies and communicate to IT o Propose new functionality that would improve data integrity in all key business Essential requirements: * 5+ years experience in a Business Intelligence/technical report writing role on retail projects/for retail companies * Proficient in Business Objects XI * Proficient in reporting tools such as WEBI, BIDS (SSRS, SSAS), Business Objects Dashboard Design * Experienced SQL user on SQL Server and Oracle * Experience in creating and maintaining a data warehouse * Analysis of ETL requirements and build solution with ETL tools such as BIDS (SSIS), SAP Data Integrator * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and Word) * Detail-oriented, organized with strong follow-through * Strong analytical and quantitative abilities * Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Educational and Behavioural attributes * Bachelors in Engineering or Technology and Masters in Technology /Business Administration preferred * Technical certifications will be an added advantage * Willingness and ability to work in a start-up environment * Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills * Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills * Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail * Result orientated * Stable and long term approach Kind Regards If your interested kindly send your updated resume with the below mentioned details Total Exp Ctc Exp Ctc NP Thanks & Regards, Anu.S Linkz Consultantz Bangalore | ||
