The unit is responsible for managing enterprise data, building and managing technology capabilities for data and business intelligence, dashboards, performance metrics across all business units within Altisource.
Key Result Areas:
- Commitment to high quality, awesome execution, high level of ownership, thought leadership and technical excellence to assure the quality of all project deliverables.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of automated test frameworks
- Develop and execute plans for delivering product in rapid iterations and with high predictability.
- Build and maintain high performance engineering teams.
- Foster collaboration in quality assurance efforts with members of cross-functional teams including providing feedback on requirements, design and how the development team can improve quality, testability, operability and maintainability.
- Assist business in product launches & customer adoption KRAs.
- Successful delivery of products on time and in budget Meet or Exceed committed Product SLA metrics.
- Ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Driving process improvement activities that result in continuous improvement in defects found in Production Desired Qualities.
- Drives for excellence with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent people leadership skills.
- Able to prioritize effectively.
- Believes in process discipline.
- Gets to the bottom of issues (root-cause) and Creative problem solver.
Requirement for this position: - Understanding of SDLC (Waterfall or Agile) from Detailed Design to delivery of code
- Should be conversant with ETL, Data Modeling and Data Warehouse and Database concepts and testing in those areas.
- Experience with source control system.
- Provide mentorship, guidance and direction to the team members. Should have demonstrated ability managing high performance team.
- Conversant with various DEV artifacts such as Estimation, performance tuning, designing, test execution report etc. Should be able to write as well peer review the same.
- Hands-on expertise with data modeling; including ODS, Data warehouse, Dimensional enterprise data marts.
- Proficiency with ETL tools and processes.
- Experience with OLAP tools for reporting and analysis.
- Prior experience with Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, DataStage and/or other ETL platforms.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Writing unit tests for and calculating code coverage metrics.
- Should be able to build and manage projects from the scratch should be conversant with performance engineering tools and frameworks.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) mandatory
- Masters in Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of software development and/or engineering experience of which atleast 5 years in DWBI testing and validation.
- 10+ years that includes deep development understanding, solid technical.
- 10+ years understanding and extraordinary passion for growing and applying.
- 10+ years quality and technical skills in service to customers.
- 4+ years leadership and mentoring DEV teams.
- 3+ years development experience with testing non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability and load testing.
- Outstanding problem solving skills with a history of assuring the development of high quality software.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skill.
- Experience with Agile software development process.
