Experience required for the Job: 8 - 13 years Annual Salary of the Job: 16.0 - 25.0 Lacs Job Location: Gurgaon Apply Now   Reply Dear Candidate, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Design, develop, and deploy complex reports and dynamic dashboards *Advanced knowledge on SQL Server/ Oracle database as backend *Very familiar with Microstrategy version 9 (and higher) *Utilize advanced components such as consolidations, custom groups, advanced metrics, and Free Form SQL *Validate data returned in all reports, provide a detailed analysis of data, and identify data quality issues *Tune MicroStrategy reports for SQL performance and efficiency *Design and create new schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables) for evolving reporting needs *Apply a solid software development life cycle process to data development projects. *Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications *Understand complex data Models, design guidelines and how to optimize them to work in an ad-hoc reporting environment *Create report objects including the use of relationship filters, custom groups, consolidations and VLDB properties *With 4 - 6 years of experience in MSTR but someone with less experience and good pedigree will do as well. Job Requirement: *Good experience in MicroStrategy reports and dashboard development *Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Guide and mentor people. *Data Model experience (knowledge about star and snowflake schema) and familiar with Data Warehousing techniques (top-down and bottom-up approach) *Familiar with MicroStrategy Mobile/ iPad Capabilities *Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services). *Advanced knowledge on SQL Server/ Oracle database as backend *Development experience on Microstrategy version 9 (and higher) *Experience utilizing the MicroStrategy SDK to customize the look and feel of the UI *Experience with MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager *MicroStrategy Certification and training is beneficial (but not must to have) Location: Gurgaon Is this job relevant to you?
