Job Description:
Able to handle projects with minimal intervention.
Responsible for interactions with clients and the onsite team for requirement gathering and estimations.
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture.
Good experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and OLAP.
Experience in designing, maintaining and implementing aggregate data marts.
Ability to mentor team members in areas like ETL and OLAP cube development.
Should have the ability to troubleshoot server performance issues.
Hands on with at least one of the databases (Oracle or SQL Server). Preferably SQL Server.
Good knowledge in writing Stored procedures, Functions and Views.
Strong knowledge on SSIS packages - Execute SQL task, Email task, Bulk insert task, Lookup transformation, Auditing, Configuration, deployment on different servers.
Good experience on SSAS - Dimension, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Attribute hierarchy relationship, Calculated member& Partitions.
Ability to write reconciliation and validation scripts.
Good to have experience with Agile development methodologies.
Basic knowledge on MDX queries.
Good to have exposure in SSRS.
Good to have exposure in the healthcare domain (understanding the mappings of eCW).
Exposure working in an onsite/offshore model would be an advantage.
Communicating with project stakeholders on the status of the projects on a timely basis.
Excellent documentation, organization, and presentation skills.
Good Communication Skills and Problem Solving ability.
