JD:OSB Developer The SOA Maintenance Team (L3) is located within the Service Delivery Management (SDM) organization of Maersk Line IT (MLIT). The team is primarily responsible for providing third level support for various service enabled (SOA) solutions in production. The solutions currently in production are linked to new or core business services. The L3 team is responsible for implementing corrective action "bug fixing" that are linked to incidents in production and escalated through the normal incident management process. Additional role related responsibilities include: ● Working with and supporting individual project/solutions within MLIT ● Helping to support standard methodologies aligned with our service design strategy ● Ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years programming experience on the below technologies and tools. ● Occasionally to work directly with vendors (fourth level support) to improve resolve issues related to incidents. Key Technical Skills and Competencies - (related to the different development stacks we manage): Key Technical Skills and Competencies - * Should have hands on experience as a OSB Developer. Technology /Module Related skills: * Servers:- Oracle Weblogic Server 10/11g, Oracle Service Bus 11g * Java Technologies:- J2EE, JMS, JDBC, JTA, EJB3, JCA Mandatory skills: * XML:-XSD, XSLT. SOAP, WSDL, XQuery * Subversion * Eclipse Desirable skills: * Maven * Hudson * Oracle Business Process Management 11g * IBM MQ Operating System skills: Linux, Solaris, Windows (to a lesser degree) Note: The team is managed using the agile/scrum method. The candidate will have worked in a similar development type environment ideally. Additional Competencies: * Team player with the ability to work within a collaborative work environment with people from different cultures and technical abilities. * Should have a pleasant demeanor and get along well with colleagues. * A results oriented approach towards work. * Ability to work in an environment with defined processes and procedures and be able to work towards improving upon them while still focussing on the delivery at hand. * Will have a customer oriented mindset and be able to make balanced decisions when supporting various projects. * Detail oriented in such a way that allows for capture and translation of both process and technical information into necessary documentation. * Good communication skills and proficient in English, both verbally and written.
