Team Lead - SharePoint
This role performs a variety of application development assignments requiring knowledge of established programming (C# .Net) procedures and data processing. They will be Involved in creating project and process specifications for new or enhanced processes. Responsibilities generally include analysis of business and user needs, clarification of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and development of process and/or applications to specifications.
This role primarily provides framework development, overall architectural and design in conjunction with other Sr. Developers and Architects to deliver to a common goal. This position mainly supports the framework and design and delivers to the platform which a team of developers deliver business solutions within.
Responsibilities:
* Provides strategic thought leadership on functional design.
* Influence strategic direction for multiple teams.
* Work with teams for collaborative design and ties efforts together for the final solution.
* Drive solutions to highly visible and/or complex issues. Point on major projects and initiatives.
* Develop, test and troubleshoot existing solutions utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and related technology.
* Document solutions and resolutions for future reference.
* Maintain and modify distributive applications and/or solutions.
* Resolve complex questions on solution development intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
* Perform complex trouble shooting, debugging and break fix. Provide deep complex analysis for the team.
* Responsible for cross unit coordination and delivery. Retain expertise across all roles of data and development analysts.
* Provide and approve analyst designs and strategies for infrastructure or cross functional builds.
* Responsible to monitor department infrastructure and distribution channels.
Qualifications
Typically have 7 + years of experience with significant and proven experience within the following competencies:
* C# .NET & ASP.Net 4.0 Visual Studio 2010 (Expert level)
* Object Orientated Programing concepts (OOPS), N-Tier
* UI Design patterns MVVM, MVC,MVP,CSLA
* WPF/WCF/Silverlight/TFS
* SharePoint 2010 Object Models (Moving to 2013)
* Content Management Concepts
* Apply Master Pages and CSS
* Basic Administration
* SharePoint Timer Jobs
* Business Connectivity Services (w/Oracle)
* SharePoint Designer
* Custom Workflows via SP Designer/VS 2010.
* Previous Brokerage and/or Beta systems knowledge preferred
Requirements:
* Must have 7 + years of development experience and 5+ within the specified domain.
* Must have experience in an agile environment.
* Proven track record of providing successful platform level development.
* Must have good communication skills, interactive collaboration
* Previous Sr. /lead developer experience preferred.
* Experience with Oracle Data Tier, writing SQL, stored procs, procedures, and packages.
Notes:
Must be well versed within OOPS.
The candidate will be expected to use advanced design patterns like techniques like CSLA. It is extremely important for this role can provide thought leadership and be able to collaborate and interact at the team level. Each developer is expected to work with domain leads for support, which may include .Net, SharePoint, and Data Architects.
Within the agile environment concept they will have to be a functioning member of the Stand Ups (Scrum), sprint planning, and present in sprint review sessions. Members will get stories assigned and be expected to work with the business team (CSS) to ensure they have the right concepts and understand the environment to provide and applied solution. Formal requirements are not written, the Sr. Developers are responsible to drive to the right requirements within our collaborative structure. They must be strong communicators and team members.
** They will be expected to actively express opinions and share points of views and be active members of topics during requirement, design or review sessions.
