Mentor and assists lead developers - Takes accountability of the components and associated code base - Provide technical and system expertise to synergize IT strategic direction and product concepts. - Keeps up to date with technology changes and identifies opportunities for implementation in future systems. - Manage relationships with business units and other Global Operations groups - Deliver a consultative service providing advice and guidance on Delivery Tier best practice SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: - In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with particular focus on Microsoft Analysis Services. - In-depth Business intelligence experience including architecture, data modeling, ETL, OLAP and reporting. - In-depth knowledge of writing SQL and MDX queries against the relevant data sources. - Knowledge of MDX scripting for the definition of objects in a cube. - In-depth knowledge of MDX for writing queries against OLAP data sources - Experience of transactional and dimensional modeling. - Experience of Kimball and Inmon methods.
