Position: Developer & Senior Developer
Note: All the roles are for individual contributor roles only.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP"s Mobile Solutions organization"s charter is to design, develop and deliver a new breed of SAP branded mobile solutions, which are simple to deploy and create instant value to the customers. Solutions will combine software, configuration and customization tools and rich user experience into a 'complete solution offering' that meets the needs of the customers who are business users and consumers.
The team will be working in a scrum-based agile mode designing, implementing, and releasing applications on a variety of platforms, including iPhone OS, Android, Blackberry, etc. Ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the architectural design of enterprise software and in-depth knowledge of mobile device platforms, with the flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment within a large organization. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, selfâ€driven with a strong desire to learn new technologies and be willing to go "all in" to achieve project and company goals.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Good understanding of SAP Development process and ability to work on multiple releases parallel.
* Expertise/Experience in Objective-C
* Exposure to XCode, Interface Builder and other Mac tools used for iOS development,
* Basic understanding of SAP CRM or ERP is a plus.
* Ability to working in distributed Team.
* Experience in mobile application development
* Understanding of the build and development process of iOS applications
* Preferably exposed to testing frameworks and methodologies used by mobile development community
* Knowledge of XML and Object Oriented Programming concepts
* Basic knowledge of major mobile platforms (iOS, WM6.5, Win Phone 7 etc.)
* Willing to work in different mobile technologies as and when market need shifts.
* Responsibilities will include all aspects of software development from design to coding and testing.
* Should be a good team player and be able to guide team mates
WORK EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, IT and Electronics Engineering.
* 3-8 years of software application development experience, of which atleast 1-4 years of experience in XCode, Objective C, uses of iOS SDK and IOS app development
* Skills / experiences in the SAP Mobile Platform area a plus (SUP, NetWeaver Gateway etc)
* Basic Knowledge of ECC, R/3 , SAP CRM.
* Previous experience with SAP Data Orchestration Engine a plus.
* Knowledge of mobile technologies a must.
* Knowledge on Sybase unwired platform is added advantage
* ABAP background is a plus.
