Oracle DBA Job Description - Exp- 6-10 yrs Work Location- Trivandrum Job Requirements Managing daily, Weekly and monthly administration tasks for Apps/Core Oracle Database. Should have worked on Database Versions 10g and 11g. Should have worked extensively on Database Upgrades/ Platform Migrations/Backup and Recovery. Should have excellent Knowledge on Database Tuning and SQL Tuning. Apps database DR setup and its ongoing maintenance. Carry out DR Drills independently at regular interval of time and do required planning / coordination Managing Database and application logs. Managing batch jobs/Concurrent Manager Problem management and provide workaround in crisis situations. Managing listener and connectivity of database. Managing minor configuration changes Managing database statistics. Executing processes as per schedules for manual execution. Space management and storage organization. Managing database I\O Database integrity management. Coordinate with Oracle global support organization on pending service requests. Applying changes to production after approval by change management team. Managing planned downtimes and ensuring that time window is not breached. Maintaining forms and reports parameters for application server. Desired Candidate Profile Engineering Graduate Excellent verbal & written communication skills Should be adaptable and open to learning new skills.
