Position: Design Engineer/Senior Design Engineer Location: Chennai Exp: 5+yrs Nature of Job: On direct Contract to company of min.3years Qualification: Diploma/BE/M.Tech JD: The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design & development of the Vehicle Exhaust Sub-system. Should have thorough knowledge of the Concept, layout, Design calculations, release and development of the Exhaust sub-system. The Design engineer should have Exhaust system component knowledge and overall system knowledge Should understand the Functioning and working principles of Exhaust components Knowledge of system design parameters and layout packaging. Hands on exp. on exhaust layout preparation (2D & 3D) for Truck or Bus application using Catia V5. Should have thorough knowledge of Preparation of Installation drawings, production drawing as per ASTM standards. Ensure that all responsible components meet applicable system & standard requirements and program objectives Apply theoretical principles and engineering techniques to design exhaust system that are reliable, serviceable, energy efficient, competitive and use the latest technology available. Knowledge DOC, POC/DPF, SCR will be added advantage.
