	Job Description
	SumTotal is seeking a talented, high-energy individual to join our IT team! In this key role, you will be responsible for design, development, testing, rollout and support of enterprise applications for the companys Intranet and Extranet systems. This role will require someone with a willingness to learn new business processes/technologies and ability to partner with business users to provide quality and excellent customer service. This individual will contribute as an individual and as a team member in order to fully support the IT Applications architecture and to help achieve business and IT goals. This position is for a Senior Programmer Analyst supporting the enterprise Intranet, Extranet and CRM systems with the following specific responsibilities: Development and Admin responsibilities: - You will be responsible for leading the development, customization and integration of SharePoint initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing SharePoint functionality. - Design SharePoint solution for enterprise-level collaboration site and internal knowledge sharing website. - Develop and customize SharePoint solution that includes enterprise search capabilities, data repository for relevant business forms, workflows, and functional departmental portals. - Develop customized webparts to support business needs. - Provide full life-cycle support for the development of SharePoint applications in MOSS 2007 / 2010. - Deploy and maintain document automations / workflows. - Maintain IT internal control workflows and systems. - Provide support for SharePoint in rotation with other team members. - Perform system maintenance tasks such as trouble-shooting, backup management and performance tuning. - Maintain system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements. - Manage and maintain backup of the Intranet and Extranet systems. - Install, maintain, monitor and support third party services, applications (web services, client applications) and other service provider data interfaces. - Set up and manage a SharePoint development server - All other duties as assigned. 	Desired Candidate Profile
	Education:   (UG - B.Tech/B.E.) AND (PG - M.Tech, MCA - Computers) AND (Doctorate - Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required) Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science 4-6 years of general MS SharePoint development and administrative experience Experience configuring a SharePoint-based Intranet and Extranet platform Experience with Windows 2008 / Windows 2003 Server environments, IIS administration, XML Experience with scripting and integration between multiple systems. 2+ years with relational data management applications (MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008). Experience with .NET and/or Web Services. Experience with implementing cross-functional business application packages. Experience migrating from SharePoint 2007 to 2010
