	SumTotal is looking for strong database development lead in SQL Server technologies to be part of core product development team based out of Hyderabad, responsible for next generation Human Capital Management Suite. Essential Job Functions- Candidate should have 6-8 years of total experience with recent experience to deliver significant product feature or whole product with proficiency in database development of SQL Server and exposure to product development cycle is very desirable. 	Desired Candidate Profile
	Education:   (UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization, Graduation Not Required) AND (PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required) AND (Doctorate - Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Experience with different SQL Server database configurations (esp. SQL Server 2005/2008 versions) and knowledge in database and system management best practices Experience in designing databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, SQL programming, database jobs, performance tuning with SQL statement optimization Experience in supporting and maintaining 24x7 database operations, excellent understanding of Capacity Planning, platform monitoring skills, RAC and load balancing technologies Strong logical, analytical and problem solving along with troubleshooting/debugging skills Ability to work well with the team and have passion for delivering high quality code Demonstrates proficiency in all phases of the product development cycle Has excellent customer viewpoint, and uses it effectively in decision making Work effectively with other departments as and when required Excellent communication skills Education, Training, and Minimum Qualifications- Candidates should have a technical background with a B.Tech/M.Tech from reputed institute in Computer Science or Engineering Minimum 6-7 years of work experience
