We are looking for Senior SQL DBA professionals for a leading product technology client of ours in Bangalore. Please go through the JD and let me know your interest levels regarding the same. Experience: 6 - 12 Years Job Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Maximum 1 Month The incumbent would be a permanent employee of Mindpool and will be working on our client place. Shift: Only US Provides US Time (India Night Time) support for all SQL Sever Databases at our client place, ensuring their database integrity, security and availability. This includes but is not limited to the following activities: * Provide Level II & III support and prompt resolution of Production issues (SQL Server). * Perform system monitoring, backups and restores, proactive database maintenance, database tuning and application of software patches. * Provide technical assistance and leadership to developers and DBAs in SQL statement creation and optimization. * Maintain and troubleshoot T-SQL, DTS packages and Functions and other SQL language related activities. * Develop database specifications, documentation. * Have heavy involvement in Deployments and Patching. * Has ability to work with a Global team with remote "leadership". * Install, configure and maintain IIS * Demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to work with US based team.
