Ab-inbev is Hiring Data engineer-ETL Admin - Bangalore location
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Experience in developing Enterprise level ETL Jobs in Azure environments for processing petabytes of data.
Experience in planning and implementing Enterprise level Azure environment for execution of thousands of Talend jobs daily.
Install Talend related software in all Job & TAC servers
Configure Talend Administration Center (TAC) to create new projects, users, GIT branches & scheduling of jobs.
Configure & use Activity monitoring Console & Talend Log server
Hortonworks Hadoop Administrative experience is a must
Should be open to perform Performance testing of ETL jobs and identification of bottle necks of long running jobs.
Working Knowledge of the services offered by Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
Develop SQL and shell scripts related to ETL processes for monitoring & housekeeping activities
Maintain ETL playbook documentation, document ETL-related issues and perform RCA
Analyze test results and trace problems in ETL processes
Good understanding of both RDBMS databases & No-SQL databases
Experience in Azure Storage and Backup in terms of Talend codebase
Participate in developing coding standards
Good to have Azure network experience, VPN and Express route and Load Balancers
Ability to administer & monitor Ambari/TEZ admin console of HDI cluster
Good experience on Infrastructure automation, build automation and deployment automation scripts/re-usable jobs.
Create automation for Log file management, Alerts from TAC
Collaborate with application/infra teams to upgrade Talend and apply patches when required
Should have Linux/Windows Sys admin experience
Hands on experience or knowledge of other competitive platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
ETL Admin role is to work with different project teams to maintain & enhance infrastructure for Enterprise level platform hosted on Azure Cloud.
Should be able to manage, govern and maintain operations of all ETL jobs running on Virtual machines & HD Insight Cluster in Azure platform.
Experience in developing Enterprise level ETL Jobs in Azure environments for processing petabytes of data.
Experience in designing, developing, validating and deploying the Talend ETL processes
Experience with Talend Data Integration: Design, develop Talend ETL jobs, creating and deploying end to end Talend Data Integration solution.
Experience in deploying the Jobs to TAC, creating execution plans and scheduling them.
Experience with one or more additional ETL tools, including Informatica, BODS is a plus.
Experience with a full life-cycle development from functional design to deployment
Good knowledge of Big Data technologies like Sqoop, Hive, Impala, spark
Experience in working with GIT, SVN or VSTS.
Experience in establishing connection with heterogeneous sources like Hadoop, Hive, Azure, Salesforce, SAP, HANA, ServiceNow, APIs, Web service REST, Web service SOAP, various Databases etc.
Good knowledge on various File storages HDFS, ADLS, BLOB, Amazon S3
