Position :Sr SQL developers (SSRS SSIS and SSAS) Location : Hyderabad Experience : 5 to 8 Yrs Model : Contract 6 M to 1 Year/ Hire Notice Period : 10 days Job Description: We are looking for a strong SQL developer to work as part of a small team of developers, business analysts, and business owners to architect, develop, implement, and support and troubleshoot Dell"s databases and applications. As a SQL developer, your responsibilities would include: * Creating and altering stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other SQL database objects that assist in the implementation of business logic and data flows through Dell"s data and application infrastructure * Ensuring that the integrity of company databases is maintained * Monitoring and troubleshooting SQL jobs, DTS, and integration services * Writing and creating data load scripts and stored procedures; ensuring that data is loaded in a timely manner daily * Actively helping our team reconcile data * Writing reports for the general business, as requested * Working with the team on database design, query tuning, index assignment, and trigger and procedure creation * Implementing data models and database designs * Supporting the business on data issues The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following requirements: * Excellent communication skills; works well in a team environment * Minimum of 3-5 years of SQL server experience * Teradata experience and Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred * Ability to write, troubleshoot, and performance tune stored procedures and triggers * Ability to reverse engineer and understand code * Experience with data warehousing * Bachelor"s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience * Ability to learn new technical skills easily and troubleshoot data-related issues and errors * A solid understanding of relational and dimensional modeling Specific skills: * SQL 2005, SQL 2008, SQL 2012 * Microsoft Report Services * Teradata experienced preferred * Stored procedure writing * Proven experience writing data loads using stored procedures and SSIS packages * Extensive knowledge of ETL techniques, methods and best practices * Experience using Metadata driven process development * Experience with Pivoting and Un-Pivoting data within stored procedures * SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft Report Services experience * Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to reverse engineer in a timely manner If you are interested please forward your profile to jyothi@bimarian.com Thanks and Best Regards Jyothirmayi BIMARIAN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES PVT.LTD Email: jyothi@bimarian.com M: +91.8886652999 Is this job relevant to you?
