Job Title: Oracle DBA Job Location: Chennai Client: Technosoft Experience: 10+ Years NIGHT SHIFT – 5.30pm – 2.30 Pm JOB DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities & Qualifications The responsibilities will include developing strategies, procedures, scripts to set up highly consolidated and management platform templates for medium size Oracle databases and achieve service level agreements (SLAs) for availability, performance, and data protection. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Installation, configuration, and architecture design for OEM12g/13c, Oracle 12c Cloud Management Pack, and Oracle 12c Lifecycle Management Pack · Provide database technical evaluation and recommendation on database design and architecture, integration and development, database high availability solution, database replication architecture, database backup, disaster and recovery strategies, grid computing and cloud management, database monitoring and management, performance tuning, database audit and security compliance and daily database operation and maintenance. · Write shell scripts in RedHat Unix platforms · Ability to understand use case requirements and plan for product life cycle testing · At least be a senior level Oracle DBA, familiar with Oracle database software installation and configuration, and Oracle database software patching on RedHat Unix platforms. · Oracle Backup and recovery Concepts - RMAN backup · Oracle ASM Storage management - Disk Creation and Management · Excellent in Oracle Core DBA activities · Advanced Oracle Performance Tuning · Hands on experience in Oracle 12c · Oracle Certification Qualifications Education: Computer Science degree Minimum 10 years Oracle database administration experience. Experience with Oracle 9-12c, (Oracle 11g, Oracle 10g R2, Oracle 9i) Golden Gate, RAC, Grid Control under HP-UX, AIX or Red Hat Linux, & MySQL Applicant should be able to demonstrate senior level experience in the at least three of the following areas: Ø Oracle10g Application Server Ø Oracle RAC Ø Oracle WebLogic Ø Oracle Golden Gate Ø Oracle Dataguard concepts Ø Oracle Exadata Ø Oracle AWS/Cloud Migration Please send me your resume along with below details.
