Roles and responsibilities
The MC-Advisory team is seeking big data/azure developer to join the growing Organic Built practice.
The responsibilities of the role include:
• Be mindful of the scope of the project
• Understand client's requirements and its business viabilities.
• Excellent team member.
• Develop solutions in detail as per the specification.
• Build data lake from multiple data sources with ingestion, data governance and auditing capabilities
• Should have a mind-set to challenge status-quo with out-of-box solutions.
• Able to translate functional and technical requirements into detail design.
• Able to implement and follow industry best practices in relevant technologies.
• Good troubleshooting and application performance tuning experience.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Work with stakeholders for regular updates, requirement understanding and design discussions
Requirement
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Technically Hands-on, prior experience with Hadoop and Azure data management services.
• Understanding of the cloud computing in MS Azure.
• Preferable Languages: Python
• MS Azure: Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, HDInsights, PowerShell good to have
• Big Data Frameworks: Spark using PySpark Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Hive are must.
• Programming Language: Python (Must have)
• Unix Shell scripting knowledge is highly desirable
• Database: Good knowledge of any SQL or NoSQL database
Demonstrated work experience in healthcare/ life sciences data analytics projects
Experience & Background
• Bring 10-14 years of software engineering and solution development experience
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Excellent communication skill
