Working knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem is a must – Cloudera distribution is preferred 2. Strong architectural understanding and working knowledge / hands-on experience of Hadoop components mainly HDFS, Zookeeper, YARN, HBASE, Hive, Impala, Solr, Spark, Kudu, Kafka. 3. Expertise in HDFS - High availability configuration, SSL configuration, encryption zone creation and snapshot management 4. Expertise in Hive, Hbase & impala -Load balancer configuration, HA configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting. 5. Security setup - Kerberos, TLS configuration on CM/agents and services, Load Balancer configuration for CM/hive/impala, KTS and KMS configuration, HSM configuration 6. Hands on experience on new cluster build, node addition, CDH upgrades, certificate renewal, BDR setup 7. Working knowledge on Mysql and mariaDb databases. 8. Strong Unix understanding. Python and/or shell scripting preferred. 9. Clear understanding of Networks and Firewalls concepts. 10. Cluster Performance tuning with extensive troubleshooting skills. 11. Around 5-6 years' experience in Hadoop (irrespective of overall work experience) Soft-skills - Excellent Communication skills, articulate and detail oriented. Strong Stakeholder management ability, preferably experienced in managing high severity incidents and working under pressure.
