Job Description:
Job Profile
o Defines and drives test architecture and always inspect and innovate overall Test Strategy of the organization by closely Working with Platform Architects
o Work with Product management and support successful product increments by clearly defined verification approach which facilitates staged verification methodology having "Entry" and "Exit" criteria
o Should have very good understanding of "RISK Management" , FMEA and should have vision and strategy for RISK based testing.
o Communicate intensively, bring in your experiences and ideas within the team and the entire DF TIP community, thus ensuring knowledge transfer
o Coach and train colleagues in test design techniques
o Inspect the possibilities of adapting innovative test strategies for development teams
o Enable development teams to align and tailoring of global test strategy
o Responsible for the evaluation and selection of the tools, processes and frameworks for the various test phases
o Consults Product Management team and ensure the testability of the requirement during grooming and drive testability improvements aimed at quality and efficiency
o Participates in design reviews and you Identifies potential technical problems, design flaws
o Performs requirements verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete and conforming to globally agreed standards of TIP
o Supports ways to reuse components across designs and/or projects
o Provide inputs for planning activities (estimates, dependencies, integration strategy, etc.)
o Coach and mentor team members regarding technology and software test craftsmanship
Desired Qualification and Experience
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M. Tech/ MSc (Computer Science)
Experience: 10+ years of experience in different software development projects(should have worked in verification and validation, development and architecture)
Knowledge and Experience:
o Should have worked as a software Architect for minimum one release cycle
o Exp in C#
o Strong V&V background
o Should have strong presence in global test communities
o Hands on experience in requirement engineering, design and implementation of complex projects.
o Sound knowledge of Software Engineering process.
o Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
o Good Analytical and problem solving skills.
o Experience in software estimations, scheduling and tracking.
o Agile/Scrum development experience.
