We are excited to add a Lead Software Engineer to our India Engineering organization. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be assigned to a suite of software solutions wherein you will be involved in defining and reviewing the architecture to meet user interface specifications for new and upgraded solutions. In this role, you will be participating in full development life cycle of multiple software solutions and helping the product development teams in defining needs of client, providing input for functional and technical design. You will also implement designs by utilizing development languages and tools as per design specifications, routine review of solutions, suggest aesthetic improvements, and participate in project related sessions such as code reviews. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of technology migration, rolling out cutting edge tools to larger developer community and involved in new generation Continuous Integration Framework for an enterprise solution.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 10 years of experience in Java or Ruby on Rails
• Hands-on development and architecture experience in large scale Hadoop based Big Data processing applications.
• Knowledge of cutting-edge tools used in Application monitoring and Cloud deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in DevOps tools such as Containers and Orchestration tools such as Mesos or Kubernetes
• Prior knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS and Services such as API Gateway and Lambda

• Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
• Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed
