We are looking for Automation Test Architect who would be the working with one of the top most investment bank of US.The concerned person would be involved into pre-sales and POC of new tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the testing deliverables for projects with a clear focus on creating a top-notch client experience
- Helps Formulate & Develop effective Test Strategy/Solution and provide Technical Leadership/Strategic Direction to the testing delivery.
- Is involved in understanding Business requirements and translate them to testing requirements
- Should possess the ability to respond to detailed technical queries.
- Should be able to do the impact analysis of any change request and highlight the challenges to all stakeholders.
- Proactive identification of risks and mitigation of the same, Daily/weekly/monthly status reporting, advance risk warnings, crisis notification with the Client/PM/ADM.
- Should be first point of escalation for testing deliverables
- Enhance customer satisfaction - Help PM/ADM for timely action planning and closure of CSAT feedback
- Review all deliverables to ensure Test process protocols/ internal quality processes are meticulously followed in project
- Should ensure the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
- Should be aware of contract clauses specific to project and implementation of the same
- Managing attrition of key people; manage attrition and overall project team on annualized basis
- Responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring junior members in the team to help them scale up faster
- Projects to be executed as per organization Quality & Information Security process framework
- Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day to day work.
- Contribution to proposals, pre-sales, Point solutions
- Is involved in customer engagements and provides necessary technical product support in making presentations, demos, POCs, etc.
- Create case studies to highlight experience / credentials for the proposals.
- Incorporate organization-wide Testing Process initiatives, Best practices, and their implementation to ensure Quality of deliverables
- Plan and execute one or more testing engagements in same or different domain at a given time.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Should have 12-14 years of quality assurance experience and exposure in the Financial Industry Investment Banking, Fixed Income.
- ISTQB Certified At least Foundation Level
- Knowledge into database systems Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL. Good understanding of DDL, DML queries and writing/executing stored procedures.
- 2 years + hand-on experience in automation testing (implementation of test automation framework, scripts development and maintenance)
- Ability to effectively use test case management and defect tracking tools. Knowledge in tools similar to JIRA, Bugzilla and quality center will be appreciated.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in leading a Software Test & Release team
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and flexible approach to their application
- Should have knowledge of different test estimation models and test metrics
- Strong verbal/ listening and written communication and presentation skills
- At least 4 years experience in working in an onshore/offshore model and managing major program/multiple projects
- Rich technology experience and good exposure to latest advancements in Testing
Education
A Bachelors Degree or higher level degree is strongly preferred.
