Location: Hyderabad Position Summary (Roles & Responsibilities): Responsible for leading DBA Practice group which is supporting AT&T ECAM, ECS, MRE & VIVO applications Consult client on any new DB requirements Guide and mentor all the junior DBA team members Excellent knowledge on Oracle, 11G, 12C, RAC, Golden Gate, Casandra etc. Responsible for the design of the new applications/projects from database perspective Write SQL programs/procedures as needed for the application(s) Responsible for moving the DB changes from dev till post production Manage Oracle performance tuning Understanding of RMAN, Data Guard Managing multiple environment i.e dev/qc/pre-prod/performance/production/post-production Responsible for the application tuning from DB perspective Responsible for commissioning and decommissioning of environments Write Unix shell scripts as needed for the application(s) Should provide on-call support during weekends and as needed Responsible for providing DB support with minimum or nil outage in terms of availability Work independently with little or no supervision Conduct in-depth research Detail and customer service oriented Provide consultancy on non-oracle databases including migration Provide both ADBA/PDBA roles seamlessly Experience & Requirements: 14+ years of experience Minimum 10 years of experience in DBA area Prior DBA experience using Oracle 11g • Strong SQL*Loader skills.
