Hello

Are you a Chinese academic who has moved away from China to pursue your career in a western country? Perhaps you're considering returning to China but you're not sure what the options are. Chinese academics contemplating returning to academia in China are often unsure if it is the right move for them.

To find out more about this, jobs.ac.uk recently conducted a focus group with 25 Chinese academics who between them have a wealth of experience, and who are currently working in the UK, to discuss perceptions of returning to pursue their academic career in China. As the result of issues discussed during this focus group, we are hosting a FREE 60-minute live video event via a Hangout on Air called 'Working in China' during the week commencing Oct 23rd, 2017 to address these issues in a wider context.
