Role: Immigration Specialist - Process Head
Work location: Bangalore Karnataka
Work timings: 2.00 PM IST to 11.00 PM IST Experience : 10+ years of Relevant experience into US Immigration, RFE,GC,H1 Filing, H1 Amendments, OPT ,Form I9.
Required Skills:
The qualified applicant will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and coordination in matters of immigration, litigation, business law, labor and employment, as well as in the day-to-day affairs of the company.
In general, the candidate exercises responsibility over employment-based visa applications, contracts review, and pursuing collections cases.
The candidate is expected to:
* Work on the full cycle of employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications such as but not limited to H1-B, L1, EB2, EB3 visa petitions, in coordination with the external immigration counsel. This includes preparation of legal documents in support of the petition, filing of required labor certifications, gathering of documentation from visa candidates, clients and third party clients, and compilation of visa petition packages from start to finish.
* Possess a solid understanding of the requirements of the H1-B application, which requires the ability to analyze the specific needs of a particular case or candidate. H1-B applications include amendments, extensions, and transfers.
* Prepare and draft complex RFE, NOID, and NOIR responses with strong, effective and persuasive arguments.
* Ensure and maintain compliance with immigration and labor-related regulations, particularly the Public Access Files and LCA Posting requirements.
* Possess a solid understanding of the entire process of filing employment-based green card applications.
* Liaise with external counsel on the green card pre-filing requirements, including the prevailing wage determination and green card recruitment, as well as on the PERM labor certification and subsequent applications (I-140, I-765, I-131, I-485, etc.).
* Closely follow developments in immigration and labor regulations.
* Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of the company's internal immigration processes.
* In general, address the day-to-day immigration concerns of the company, including managing correspondence, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and serving as coordinator to employees, recruiters, and clients.
* Review, negotiate, and conclude service contracts and contractor agreements in an efficient and fast-paced manner.
* Prepare and draft employment contracts, product sales agreements, and such other legal instruments as may be required.
* Perform such other incidental and related duties as may be assigned by the company.
