Position: Senior Data Developer/ Lead Data Developer Location: Gurgaon (Delhi NCR) Job Description: This individual is responsible for working with stakeholders in the development of data technology that meet the goals of the technology strategy and data principles. Additionally, this individual will be called upon to contribute to a growing list of data best practices   Responsibilities: Development of data platforms, integration frameworks, processes, and code that can be utilized across data community Development of best practices for data community Conduct code reviews Develop applications and features at the direction of the client and/or architects Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing as per the requirements of the team Work with teams to deploy software to all relevant environments Seek alternative technology solutions to problems   Knowledge & Qualifications: Experience in process automation Experience developing solutions in a Linux environment Experience with very large data volumes Experience with open source tools Experience with high level programming languages - Python, Java & Scala Experience with distributed processing and systems Experience with Hadoop / Spark toolsets Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) Experience with Data Flow development Behavioral Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable and flexible High energy and self-motivation Ability to work on multiple projects / tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn the business and new technology Team-oriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others Excellent written communication and documentation Great at educating.
