Strong ORACLE DBA 8-10 years of experience 3-4+ years’ experience in leading a team 24/7 - Hands-on experience with ORACLE and installation /patch management /refresh etc . Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining ORACLE AND stand-alone instances including ORACLE Server ,Reporting Services, and Integration Services components on physical and virtual Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, and 2012 in enterprise development ,QA and production environments. Disaster Recovery and High Availability Plan. Experience with Clustering and server consolidation. Troubleshooting production issues and raising high availability Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience with backups, restores and recovery models Knowledge of High Availability (HA) database mirroring, replication, and log shipping and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server. Understanding and some working knowledge of SSIS/ DTS, SSAS, SSRS and common ETL practices Understanding execution plans and how to use them to optimize/ improve query costs and create indexes Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory Excellent written and verbal communication Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality Ability to organize and plan work independently Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to work flexible schedule.
