Details and Job description of the requirement is as follows:
Performance Improvement Lead
Role: This is unique proposition where the person will be a leading member of the PACES offering of Logixal.
Responsibility:
1. Combine the Oracle Commerce (ATG) implementation and domain knowledge With the Performance Artefacts and analytics feed coming from a plethora of performance analytic tools and work towards optimization of the performance of the site.
2. Should be able to understand and analyize the results of a performance test.
3. Understand tools like tleaf, app dynamics, splunk, newrelic, mpulse, omniture and be able to provide insights in potential business and performance related issues.
4. Should be able to then identify the rootcause, suggest the best option to fix and be able to monitor the fix all the way to the production.
5. Able to monitor huge production setups for potential memory leaks and fix the same.
Must Have:
1. Strong Development background in Java/J2EE environment
2. Ability to conduct code profiling, diagnose performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations on
improving performance of the identified issues
3. Willingness to get into Performance diagnostics and Performance Engineering field.
4. Exposures and understanding of various architectures preferably ATG
5. Strong oral and written communication skills
6. Strong Analytical skill to identify performance bottleneck patterns
7. Exposure to performance analysis tools like - New Relic, TeaLeaf, SumoLogic, Wily Introscope, Compuware
Vantage Analyzer, JProfiler, JProbe, IBM Thread Analyzer, IBM Heap Analyzer, HP J2EE Diagnostics etc...
Good to Have:
1. Collaborate with Performance Engineering Leads and project team to develop performance engineering
2. Provide inputs and assist in developing the Performance Testing strategy and execution plans.
3. Assist in the preparation and review of final deliverable including the overall findings and recommendations of performance engineering projects.
4. Understand and promote the concept of performance engineering during all phases of the SDLC, to deliver performance certified applications to deployment teams.
