JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Bangalore
INDUSTRY: E-commerce & Social Networking Startup
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
*Design and Develop iOS Apps of very high quality
*Writing quality, maintainable and scalable code and tuning them to optimize performance.
*Developing data models.
*Helping with Technical and Implementation decisions.
*Guiding and coaching team members.
*Owning the product and deliver the best possible solution.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
*A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Information Technology.
*3+ years of experience in hands on coding iOS Apps
*Should have a portfolio 3+ iOS live in the iTunes App Store
REQUIREMENTS
*Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing iPhone and iPad Apps
*Strong object-oriented programming skills and MVC design pattern.
*Expertise in Xcode, Storyboard and Interface Builder.
*In-depth knowledge of Objective C 2.0, Cocoa Framework, Apple Script
*Expertise in the iPhone SDK, Cocoa Touch Framework, Open GL ES 2.0, Open AL, Core Graphics, Core Animation, Core Text and the Game Kit and Store Kit frameworks.
*Proficiencies in CFNetwork programming and QuickTime Framework.
*Knowledge of XML-RPC, WebKit, and Quartz.
*Experience with integrating 3rd party libraries and APIs
*Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
*Architect, design, and build capabilities within the iOS native application
*Experience with formal development practices, including documentation (UML, etc.), structured/well written code that conforms to industry standard best practices/patterns, and unit/integration testing
*Experience with Instruments such as Leaks, Object Allocation, and CPU Sampler.
*Deliver across the entire app life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
*A track record of delivering successful consumer and or business products
*Should have Strong debugging and trouble-shooting skills
*Design efficient, adaptable, & reusable code. Tuning components for high performance & scalability using techniques such as caching, code optimization, and efficient memory management.
*Team handling capabilities and quick learning are mandatory. Should have worked in cross culture environment
*Ability to multi task and good time management skills
*Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team
*Excellent scoping and estimation skills
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
