JOB DESCRIPTION:
8.5+ years of experience configuring, optimizing, managing, and supporting Microsoft SQL infrastructure.
3+ years of experience in managing 24/7 team.
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
The lead will take some of the day-to-day coordination with the Developers
Excellent soft skills - interaction with the on-site team, involvement in projects and meetings, etc.
Highly personable SQL expert that can coordinate the work in the space to ensure delivery based on our SLO/SLAs.
Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc
Experience in implementing operational solutions with SQL Server 2008.
SQL Development- experience in creating database architecture with associated schema as part of a software design process.
Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
Familiarity with windows server, security delegation, storage components.
Manage database migrations and platform upgrades.
SQL Server Replication Design / Implementation / Maintenance
Database Disaster Recovery Implementation / Maintenance / Capabilities
Database Resource Capacity Planning / Management Design / Implementations
Ability to network with documentation and testing teams to accomplish creation of processes and procedures.
Knowledge and experience with SQL Server 2012 a plus advantage.
SQL Database Setup and Back Up.
