Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*The Technical Delivery Head will primarily be responsible for owning the development and delivery of entire product end to end.
*The person will be managing the technical team delivering the product, and provide technology guidance to ensure the high quality of the product.
*Additionally, the person must possess a strong working relationship with the development, testing, design team etc.
*The products will be mainly Mobile centric, so experience in these technologies is desirable.
*The expected user base of these products is in millions so prior experience of developing and managing systems and products of this scale is a MUST.
*Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
*Own the development and delivery of entire product ensuring the product meet the business requirements, and are highly scalable, fault tolerant, and perform well under various mobile network speeds.
*Contribute and own the product roadmap from technology delivery perspective and deliver towards that by taking informed design and delivery choices.
*Be aware of latest technology and architectural trends in areas of cloud computing, mobile space, No -SQL, virtualization techniques etc
*Oversee the entire team success during implementation and delivery, focusing on timely project completion, quality and business requirements
*Assist the Technical Architect with resource assignments to match resource skill to task assignment balance assignment with business considerations such as project priority, management escalations, and revenue goals.
*Provide leadership and direction to technical resources to efficiently and effectively attain organizational goals, and to pursue excellence in delivery execution.
*Identifies opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change evaluate alternative technical solutions whenever required.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
*Desired Technical Skills: - Technology/Solution Architecture - Java/J2EE, Spring, SOA, Restful Web Services, Messaging systems etc - Familiarity and past experience with mobile application development on Android, IOS and Windows is desired but not mandatory technical delivery, android, project team, cloud, technical resources, task assignment, ios, roadmap, virtualization, sql
