Principal Duties and Responsibilities -
* Expert knowledge of software quality assurance and defining quality strategies for projects and client engagements
* Able to represent the QA team in varied forums (customers, peers, etc..) and effectively evangelize key initiatives and/or advertise key accomplishments.
* In partnership with peer group(Architects, Princ SQA, etc...) in partner organizations helps set strategic direction for software delivery to maximize value for Nuance and its customers.
* Actively mentors less experienced QA Engineers using candid feedback. Acts in an advisory role to management in key strategic decisions.
* Drives others consistently to meet their commitments. Regularly identifies/implements ways to improve organizational quality within immediate team and across QA.
* Expert at script development as well as Automation design and development and able to guide and mentor team members in the skills.
* Flexible in working under changing and different work settings.
* Maintain high team morale
* Proficient in SOAP UI Pro/ Groovy Scripting and working experience to build projects from scratch. Good knowledge of how to convert workflows in to SOAP tests.
* Experience with SQL and demonstrable knowledge of database
* Analyse user stories for full non-ambiguous requirements managing defects by investigating, reporting and tracking to resolution
* Writing test plans, complete with time estimates for completion by yourself and/or others
* Performing functional, regression and User Acceptance testing
* Experience working in Agile environment is a plus.
